Private residence

Return to the ancient splendors
of 1900

Recovery of a historic villa from the early 1900s, respecting the philosophy with which this splendid residence was designed.
Arredo Jolly took care of the design of all the floors in an intervention that lasted about a year.

In the heart of the town of Baveno, a well-known tourist town on Lake Maggiore, this villa from the early 1900s stands immersed in the splendid green of its park.

A long and complex restoration project, which made it possible to restore to a historic building from the early 1900s, located in Baveno, not only its historical-artistic identity but also allowed it to be modernized through fine furnishings and materials.

The Villa overlooking the park is arranged on 4 levels, all the floors and walls are a combination of carefully chosen natural materials.

The floors of the entrance.

The floors of the large entrance and all the common areas up to the first floor have been designed and built in white Carrara and Rosso Levanto following the geometry of the ancient ceilings of the villa which have been carefully restored. The White Carrara marble was carefully chosen because in the villa there was already a staircase in the same material that connected the ground floor to the first floor.

Brightness, atmosphere, space and hospitality are the result of a very specific project.

Also on the ground floor in adherence to the rooms, a corridor leads to the kitchen, where a huge fireplace faithfully restored is the protagonist together with the frescoed ceiling. The floor has been designed in diamond-shaped Bardiglio with tozzetti in Carrara with a modern cut as the client in contrast to the environment chose a modern style kitchen. On the first and second floor all the rooms are dedicated to the bedrooms which have been partly restored in wood and partly reproduced faithful to the originals, restoring glory to these rooms.

The bathrooms are covered with natural materials, with marble in Breccia di Capraia, Calcatta Gray, Bardiglio, Silk Georgette and wooden floors from oak to larch, combined with contemporary furnishings that enhance their beauty.

In the basement, on the other hand, there is the area dedicated to wellness and fitness where the entire room is clad in Roman travertine, creating a scenario reminiscent of the ancient Roman baths.
