The recovery of a 19th century villa on Lake Maggiore.
Arredo Jolly was a partner in the project under the guidance of Studio Lucchini Architetti in the construction of the floors, bathrooms and mosaic of the outdoor pool.
The restoration project of Villa Orsi – a prestigious early twentieth century residence located in Cannero Riviera, on the shores of Lake Maggiore – was designed by the Lucchini Architetti studio with the aim of preserving and transmitting the charm of place, combining them with a refined design with contemporary lines.
In a privileged position on the lakeside promenade, over the years the three-storey villa has kept its original layout.
The works have freed the Villa poor quality interventions carried out in the 70s, restoring the original symmetrical composition to the northern facade, with the porch and the terrace, redeveloping the bathrooms and the new kitchen, separated from the dining room with a of cupboards open on both sides. The surveys carried out on the homogeneous colors of the ceilings of the various rooms have made it possible to bring to light very precious themes, widespread almost on all ceilings, as well as on the external facades.
The newly revealed colors and decorations, the wooden and Venetian seminato floors, some original furnishings, in an ideal and balanced counterpoint, were the theme on which the modern line of interior design was inserted: in the definition of colors, materials and finishes, up to the exclusive furnishings.
Sabine Sauter – Brader, who took care of the interior design of the historic residence, opted for exclusive materials, refined finishes and furnishings from various leading companies in the design sector.
Villa Orsi is available as a holiday home and as a location for events.
